Apple working on a new processor dedicated for AI-(artificial intelligence) related tasks  Apple's virtual assistant that powers its iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS devices, could get a huge boost in the near future. That's because it seems that the company is working on a dedicated chipset for handling AI-related tasks. As reported by Bloomberg website, the AI chip is internally known as 'Apple Neural Engine' and will improve how Siri handles facial and speech recognition tasks. The inclusion of a new chipset for AI enhancement would also take the load off the A-series primary chipsets and motion co-processors. This in turn may lead to improvements in battery performance. A person familiar with Apple's plans told Bloomberg that the company could let the new chip handle facial recognition in photos, some parts of speech recognition, and iOS' predictive keyboard. Ransomware: Effected new bug all over the world

On Friday May 12 the world was struck by an unprecedented ransomware (a kind of virus)cyberattack infecting, at the time of writing, over 230,000 computer systems across 150 countries Within hours of the ransomware being launched, a cybersecurity specialist who blogs under the name "MalwareTechBlog As expected, in the intervening days, several new variants of the ransomware appeared. Most featured similar kill-switch domains that were quickly blocked, but reports do indicate that new variants with no kill-switch have started appearing. This dramatic attack on the world's computers is by no means over, with organizations bracing for another wave of infections, but how did this even happen in the first place?

Lenovo Smart Band HW01 With OLED Display Launched at Rs. 1,999

Lenovo is joining the fitness race in India with the launch of the Smart Band HW01 fitness tracker. The smart band highlights an OLED display and is listed exclusively on  Flipkart  at Rs. 1,999 in Black colour. The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 has a 0.91-inch OLED display that will show your regular fitness tracking data such as time, steps and heart rate, to name a few. Notably, the band also features a dynamic heart rate monitor under ‘Sports Mode’ that can monitor heart rate every 15 minutes. The band vibrates when your heart rate reaches the designated threshold. Additionally, the band comes with an anti-sleep mode that will alert you through vibrations if you’ve slept beyond a designated time. “This mode alerts you of concentration loss or dozing while driving or working at night,”  Lenovo  says. The band will also vibrate when you recei ve an alert such as calls, messages, email, WhatsApp or Facebook notifications.

Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer approved by TRAI, 4G service for free users ends now.... This should come as a relief to Jio. The company has reportedly received TRAI approval for its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. In other words, the Telecom regulator in India has found that Jio's Dhan Dhana Dhan plan, which is a promotional offer with fairly low charges, complies with all its rules and norms. According to a Financial Express report, TRAI has examined the new Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer and has found no discrepancy in the offer. Sources close to the matter told FE that Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan is a "clear tariff plan" and it does not violate any norm of TRAI.  The Summer Surprise offer which was announced by Jio on April 1 was aborted by the company stating that the suggestion to end it came from TRAI.
