Google I/O 2017: Official app now available for Android and iOS users

Google I/O 2017: Special session on Android apps for large screens

Using Google I/O 2017, users can watch the livestream of the keynote and its sessions. The app supports notifications about things like event schedule, sessions and more. It's freely available for iOS and Android.

This year's I/O developers conference is scheduled to be held between May 17-19 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Each year, Google reveals new features of the next version of its Android OS at the event. In 2016, the company showcased the top features of Android 7.0 Nougat at the event.

One of the features revealed during Google IO 2016 is Instant Apps. The company recently started real-world testing of Instant Apps too.

For those unaware, Instant Apps run on Google's servers instead on the device. This not only helps save time but also internet data and storage space. Users can experience the app completely before downloading it on their device using the feature.
