Smartron is back and has launched a new phone called the srt.phone, which is inspired by the company’s prime investor Sachin Tendulkar. The srt.phone is available in two variants with prices starting at Rs. 12,999. The phone will be available exclusively via Flipkart from today itself in only one colour variant called Titanium grey. Smartron has also announced some launch offers such as upto Rs. 1,500 discount on exchange of an old phone and early customers will also get Sachin Tendulkar-design back covers worth Rs. 599 for free. Further, users will get free extended warranty worth Rs. 1,400 and additional 5 percent cashback for Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders.
he smartphone offers a simple design with Smartron's signature orange accents and a plastic build. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 SoC, which was last seen on the Coolpad Cool 1 in the same price category. There is 4GB of RAM available on the phone and the device is available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. While the phone does not support microSD cards, the company will provide unlimited cloud storage with each smartphone via its t.cloud storage service.
